About Me

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with a specialization in child and adolescent therapy. I obtained my master's degree in Psychology at Antioch University and completed Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. I have extensive experience working with children, teens and families and am able to establish genuine connections that cultivate change and growth. My training at Maple Counseling Center  gave me a deep foundation in psychodynamic therapy that I combined with other modalities such as CBT, narrative, trauma-informed and mindfulness based therapies. I am also trained in the Trauma Resiliency Method (TRM) which has provided me with tools and interventions to help deal with anxiety, trauma and other life stressors while strengthening resilience and enhancing communication.

Throughout my career, I have also gained valuable experience working in various roles that involve supporting young individuals and families. I served as a counselor, C.I.T. coordinator and program coordinator for summer camps and year round foundations dedicated to underprivileged youth. In addition, I worked as an English teacher in Thailand. These diverse experiences have broadened my perspective and equipped me with a wealth of knowledge and skills to foster progress and positive outcomes in therapy with individuals from various backgrounds.
